Emma is an occupational therapist who is passionate about empowering children and families through skill-building, creativity, and connection. With a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Australian Catholic University, she brings warmth and energy to every session, supporting children to thrive in the clinic, at school, and at home.
Emma’s clinical focus includes motor skill development such as shoelace tying, bike riding, and handwriting. One of Emma’s greatest passions is parent coaching. She believes in building families’ confidence and capacity by sharing practical strategies and knowledge that translate into everyday success. Her advocacy work is centred on ensuring children can access their learning environment, community activities, and home routines with the right supports in place.
Her previous experience spans paediatrics and aged care, giving her a deep appreciation of how family dynamics shape individual needs. Emma is skilled in both top-down and bottom-up approaches and works holistically to support fine and gross motor skills, play, postural needs, and routines.
Emma was drawn to occupational therapy for its flexibility and its focus on individual strengths. She loves guiding children and families through their journeys, especially in a world that can feel overwhelming for those who experience it differently.
In the clinic, Emma’s go-to games include Spot It, UNO, and Guess Who for building fine motor skills and providing opportunities for social interaction, along with body-awareness activities like bubble games and sticker swing games that support core strength, regulation, and creativity. She loves turning every goal into a playful moment of progress.
